Physiotherapy can be arranged for a single appointment, a short-term period, or on a long-term ongoing basis. Each session includes both assessment and treatment, lasting 45 minutes.
During your child’s first appointment, they will undergo both assessment and treatment in the same session.

For follow-up appointments, I will re-assess and treat your child. The assessment time will be longer during the initial appointment and considerably shorter for subsequent visits. Regardless of whether it’s your child’s first appointment or a follow-up, they will receive hands-on treatment along with a personalised home exercise plan.

If your child has specific physical requirements and you need an assessment and report to support The Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process I am here to help. For EHCP Reports, please contact us directly to arrange an appointment.  This service includes:

  • 1 hour subjective information and history gathering through a video call
  • 1 hour face-to-face assessment conducted with the child and their parents or
caregivers at FLORIKIDS Physiotherapy. Please note that assessment at alternative
locations, such as nurseries, schools, or your home, will incur an additional fee.
  • A written report formatted in a clear and legal manner for the Local Authority.
  • A video call to review the report with you before distribution.

I can provide a written report outlining the sessions your child participated in. Furthermore, I am able to facilitate referrals to relevant agencies or share physiotherapy results via email with the school or other parties involved in your child’s care. I am also available to attend a remote meeting. Please be aware that this service incurs a fee.

What age range do you work with?

I work with children from birth right through to 16 years old. Each stage of childhood brings different developmental needs, and I tailor every session to suit your child’s age, ability, and goals—whether they’re an infant just beginning to move or a teenager needing support with coordination or mobility.

I support a wide range of conditions including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, joint and muscle pain, posture or gait issues, and neurological challenges. If you’re unsure whether physiotherapy is right for your child, I’m always happy to talk it through and offer guidance based on their specific needs.

Each session lasts around 45 minutes and includes both assessment and hands-on treatment using fun, play-based activities to keep your child engaged. You’ll also receive a personalised home exercise plan to continue progress between sessions. My approach is always gentle, child-led, and focused on building confidence, function, and movement.
